White boxer7/29/2023 ![]() The white coat of a puppy occurs as a result of recessive white gene recombination between both parents. Boxer litters are 25% white, and approximately 18% of white boxers are deaf. A deaf baby is born in either ear of nearly 18% of all white puppies. When white boxers are bred, they can develop deaf dogs. White boxer dogs, including a mix of Mastiff and Bulldog, are not usually affected by deafness or blindness, but they are not immune. You may also want to have the dog checked out by a veterinarian before bringing him home. If you are considering adopting a white boxer, be sure to ask the breeder about the dog’s vision and hearing. This deafness is usually caused by a congenital defect in the development of the inner ear. Some white boxers also have deafness in one or both ears. The blue eyes may eventually turn brown or green as the dog matures. This blue color is caused by the lack of pigment in their irises. What we do know is that white boxers are often born with blue eyes. The truth is, we just don’t know for sure. Others believe that white boxers are no more likely to be blind or deaf than any other color of boxer. Some experts say that the lack of pigment in their coats makes them more susceptible to problems with their vision and hearing. Apart from the common health issues that affect Boxers in general, a white Boxer is susceptible to the following health problems.The jury is still out on whether white boxer dogs are blind or deaf. Regular baths may not be necessary, but you should not neglect to clip their nails once or twice a month. Therefore, you only need to brush their coat once a week to keep it looking neat. You will have to keep things fresh and fun if you hope to teach them anything. Furthermore, this dog has no time for repetitive and boring routines. It is also stubborn and won’t respond well to harsh reprimands. However, a white Boxer is an independent thinker and doesn’t like to be bossed around.
